The Gigaset R700H protect PRO is the rugged handset from Gigaset that is perfectly equipped for a wide variety of alerting and lone worker scenarios. With its motion sensor, it can detect various automatic alarm scenarios. For manual alarm triggering, it is equipped with a red, domed "SOS" alarm button that is easy to press even when wearing gloves. A notification terminal with icon set for various alarm scenarios, a Bluetooth beacon scan function and an integrated torch LED round off the alarm features.

The Gigaset R700H protect PRO is equipped with a motion sensor so it can detect various will-independent alarm types including man down alarm. Therefore it is entitled to be certified for lone worker scenarios (i.e. German DGUV 112-139). It has a programmable red function key with a domed shaped that can easily be pressed even with working gloves in case of manual alarm triggering. An AML messaging terminal and icon set, Bluetooth beacon functionality, integrated torch LED and bi-color LED for Message Waiting Indication (MWI) with status indication complete the set of useful alarming features.

In addition to the rubberized surface which gives the device a perfect grip the new R700H protect PRO is designed in such a way that it can also be operated with work gloves. The display glass is proof against scratches thanks to a harder surface and can therefore be used in extreme working environments. With an IP65 certification, the R700H protect PRO is protected against the ingress of dust and water jets. In addition, the special magnetic shielding makes the R700H protect PRO resistant to metal dust. The handset has a disinfectant-resistant surface, which simplifies cleaning and thus protects against bacteria and virucides.
